We have learned more about the human brain in the last 25 years than in all of history before, and this new science is changing the way we think about leadership.
Neuroleadership is a field of study that takes the latest discoveries from social cognitive neuroscience and applies them in conceptual, practical and useful ways to the way in which we self-lead and lead, influence, engage and motivate others.
In this ‘taster’ leadership masterclass, Michelle Loch will unpack some of the recent findings and how they are being used to support organisations to REWIRE their leaders, teams and conversations, and facilitate a discussion on how this approach can benefit your leadership team.
You will discover:
- why the way we work isn’t working and why leading can feel so hard
- how humans are wired
- how you can REWIRE for inspirational leadership, functional teamwork and to create powerful conversations in your leadership teams
You will walk away with a deeper understanding about why people (including yourself) do what they do and how that should change the way we think about leading people, and about the types of conversations we have with them!
Understanding the neuroscience of human motivation gives you an ‘unfair advantage’ in people management…it allows you to diagnose the behaviour you see and experience and then prescribe more effective responses and management for that behaviour. As leaders of teams, and of the next generation, this masterclass will provide you with the opportunity to ‘dip your toe’ into this new thinking around how we lead the humans in our organisations.
The workshop ($145+ GST) includes:
- A 2.5 hour interesting and interactive workshop
- Access to one of Australia’s leading experts in the neuroscience of leadership, human motivation, self-leadership and powerful conversation
